Google CEO Sundar Pichai has unveiled a new Google calendar feature following a request from Stripe CEO John Collision.

On July 5, John Collision, co-founder of Stripe, posted a request via his X account and tagging Sundar Pichai saying:

Could we get Ctrl-click on Google calendar to duplicate events, like many native calendar application have.


On August 13, Sundar Pichai replied to the post, acknowledged the request and announced that the feature is now live on the web version of Google's calendar.


This new feature is currently available only on the web version of Google's calendar. With this feature, users can hold the Ctrl key (on Windows) and drag an event to instantly create a copy
