Instagram Permanently Deactivates BLord’s Account for Community Guidelines Violation

Instagram has permanently deactivated the account of Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, a billionaire businessman, with over 3 million followers. On Wednesday, October 16, 2025, BLord posted on his Instagram story requesting the "noodles" of Martins Vincent, also known as VDM, with an offer to pay 500 thousand Naira to whoever have it. He said:"Abeg who get Martins noodles ???: send to me I'll pay 500k. When he was busy selling noodles I was building empire." Shortly after, he received the noodles from an Instagram user, Nnamdi Ambrose. He then posted a screenshot as proof, along with the receipt of the 500k transaction, on his story. Next, he posted the video of VDM noodles and shortly after, his account was deactivated for violating community guidelines. Nexperia announced on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, that CEO Zhang Xuezheng have been suspended as Executive director and will no longer act as CEO of the company, as ruled by the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. In addition, all voting rights on the shares in Nexperia held by Wingtech Technology Co., Ltd. have been transferred to an independent administrator. As a result, the Dutch government has taken control of Nexperia. Nexperia is a Chinese-owned semiconductor manufacturing company based in Netherlands. It was acquired by Wingtech Technology on October 25, 2018 for $3.63 billion. This decision follows the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs invoking the Goods availability act on Nexperia on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, due to governance shortcomings that was considered a risk to Dutch and European economic security. The Wall Street Journal confirmed on Saturday, October 11, 2025, the departure of Andrew Tulloch from Thinking Machines Labs to join Meta. He departs saying: " I have decided to pursue a different path for personal reasons." Thinking Machines Labs is an artificial intelligence startup founded in February 2025 by Mira Murati in San Francisco. Mira Murati's early journey began when she joined OpenAI as Vice President of Applied AI and partnership before becoming Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in May, 2020. She was named the interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OpenAI in 2023 but was replaced by Emmett Shear after 3 days and returned to the CTO role.
